So after a long week of work and the inability to get any other workouts in for the week my buddy and I decided to do 6 hours on the bike. Now I was originally thinking of doing some slow riding on some relatively flat ground, turns out that was not the case. We drove out to the Bartlett Lake entrance and dropped in. this is a 28 mile round trip that has grades of 2 to 10 percent and at the turn around point it is about 3 miles of 7% grade. We then road out to some relatively flat roads for another 25 miles. We got back to the truck about an hour before our other ride buddies were going to show up for there workout which was, can anyone guess. That right dropping down into the lake again. I have to admit this ride made me extremely sore for the rest of the day. Oh ya one other quirky thing to this is that we started at Midnight man was it great out until about 5am then it turned into a sauna. Monsoon season here in AZ and there were storms building all morning.
I have tried to add a link to my ride (forgot the Garmin on the first drop into the lake). I am not sure if this will work or not.
