Day 19, Rest day...Sort of.

Well today we had planned to be a rest day but we needed to make us some mileage.  So we got up like normal and rode.  As much as i did not want to get up, it turned out to be a good ride.  We only had about 27 miles to do this morning so after 6 Shane and Kyle gave me the green light to ride however I wanted.  So once I warmed up i just rode.  It was not a blistering pace by any means but I just put the headphones in (just my right ear safety first) and kept pedaling.  The air was cool the road somewhat smooth and it felt refreshing.

Then it was camp chore time.  I cleaned the bikes with dads help and made sure everything was running ok.  Kyle, Shane and Less did Laundry and then it was all about relaxing.  We walked around town a little bit this afternoon before dinner.  Nice little town.

On a down side Dad leaves today, he is only gone for a week but it will be very weird not to have him along.  I always look forward to him being at the SAG vehicle to give me a smile, pat on the back or just tell me a story about what had happened earlier in the day.  I am sure we will talk every day he is gone and it wont be long before he is back with us.
This picture was at the beech while were in Pensacola but I like it so I thought I would share it.  Dad we will ride safe and strong while you are away.  Thanks for always being there for us, we will always be there for you and Mom.

OUR RIDE, OUR CAUSE, OUR PASSION.
